John Sherritt, Principal       

Mr. Sherritt, with over 25 years experience in real estate development, has an extensive background in master planned community development, land-use planning and design, governmental processing of subdivision applications, acquisition due diligence, development management, construction cost analysis, cash-flow analysis, joint venture equity and construction financing.

In 2004 Mr. Sherritt formed Ainslie Communities, LLC, an acquisition, design management and entitlement real estate company.  Ainslie Communities has, with joint ventures with equity partners, acquired and is currently designing and processing the entitlements on several projects including a 600 unit Master Planned Community in the City of Hemet, CA and a 313 unit Mixed-use project in the City of Chula Vista, CA.  In addition to these communities in which Mr. Sherritt acts as a principal, he providing his expertise in managing the design, entitlement management and processing of a 428 Unit Independent Living Seniors community in the City of Carlsbad, CA.

From 1990 to 2004 he was the President of Sherritt Development Services, Inc. , a consulting company that provided a broad range of real estate services to land owners, builders, development companies, financial institutions, joint venture equity partners, investment bankers, accounting firms and law firms.  These services include acquisition due diligence, construction cost analysis, bond/fee/permit/entitlement analysis, consultant coordination, cash-flow analysis, market analysis, construction loan draw review, asset management plan preparation and implementation, joint venture package and construction loan application preparation, litigation support, critical path scheduling and overall entitlement and project management.

The  Due Diligence and Project Management Systems and Procedures developed by Mr. Sherritt  was acquired thru license by Large National Public Home Builder for implementation by them in multi-regional divisions across the U.S.

Mr. Sherritt has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters in City Planning.

Construction Cost Analysis and Project Management

Mr. MacLean has over 35 years of experience in the residential, commercial and retail development industry.  Having been directly responsible for the construction of over 30,000 homes throughout his career, plus being a division Vice-President and Division Manager for one of California’s major private builders, Mr. MacLean brings this extensive expertise to all due diligence, project management and construction cost analysis endeavors undertaken by Ainslie Communities.

Mr. MacLean has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management plus numerous Certificates in Total Quality Management.
